Horicon structure fire on Lake Street; 2 firefighters injured
HORICON, Wis. - Two Horicon firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries while fighting a structure fire on E. Lake Street on Wednesday evening, Dec. 17. A post on the Horicon Fire Department Facebook page says firefighters were dispatched to the building on E. Lake Street shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday.

An accidental fire at Cape Henry Towers hospitalized one firefighter and displaced another adult, according to the Virginia Beach Fire Department.
According to the West Hartford Fire Department, crews found smoke and fire coming from the rear of the home. The fire department said, “two 1 3/4 lines were stretched, and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, limiting damage primarily to the rear of the building, with minor extension into the home.”
A five-alarm fire on Friday evening left one firefighter injured, while more than 100 firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, according to the Denver Fire Department.
