AMD’s CES 2026 desktop CPU announcements raised eyebrows by their simplicity. Despite widespread expectations of a broader 3D V-Cache refresh, the company introduced only a single new X3D processor, the Ryzen 7 9850X3D.
In addition to updated Ryzen AI 300 series processors and the new Ryzen AI 400 series unveiled at CES 2026, the company brings a new desktop chip for gamers.
